Your Day to Day Itinerary

All our itineraries are suggestions; they can be adapted and customised to suit your needs and preferences or for any seasonal changes or migratory animal movements.

Option 1 – Arusha National Park (1 day)

  • Travel Time:

    1 hour
  • Distance:

    60 km (37 miles)

Start your day with a mouth-watering breakfast, then meet our friendly and professional tour guide/driver at your accommodation for a short safari briefing. We’ll then embark on a scenic drive east to Arusha National Park, the closest national park to Arusha’s famous “safari town” (40 km away) and Kilimanjaro International Airport, making it perfect for a 1-day adventure!

Arusha National Park teems with wildlife and is one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and topographically varied parks. Its three most remarkable features are the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second-highest peak at 4566m), the unique coloured Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, formed about fifteen million years ago!

We’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in the park and embark on morning and afternoon game drives, exploring the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Keep your eyes peeled for African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys, and, if you’re lucky, a rare leopard or hyena. We’ll head back to Arusha in the late afternoon, wrapping up our safari adventure. Before parting ways, we encourage you to show appreciation to your guide by tipping approximately $20-$30 per day. Finally, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your 1-day tour with us.

Option 2 – Lake Manyara National Park (1 day)

  • Travel Time:

    2 hours
  • Distance:

    130 km (81 miles)

After an early breakfast, meet your tour guide/driver for a brief safari overview before we set off westward to the stunning Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara National Park. Our journey will take us through the bustling market town of Mto Wa Mbu at the park’s entrance. This town is a souvenir hunter’s paradise, teeming with vendors eager to showcase their wares.

Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically situated wildlife areas. It features a vast yet shallow soda lake that covers two-thirds of the park at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s diverse habitats attract a wide range of animals, including one of Africa’s most densely populated elephant herds, the famous tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae.

We’ll have a delightful picnic lunch in the park and embark on morning and afternoon game drives to find those elusive tree-climbing lions. We’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon, concluding our safari adventure. Before parting ways, we encourage you to show appreciation to your guide by tipping approximately $20-$30 per day. You’ll be taken to your hotel, marking the end of our tour package services.

Option 3 – Lake Tarangire National Park (1 day)

  • Travel Time:

    3 hours
  • Distance:

    140 km (87 miles)

After an early breakfast, meet your tour guide/driver for a brief safari introduction. We’ll then travel east to the magnificent Lake Tarangire National Park. This park follows the path of the Tarangire River and features low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor, with lush Acacia woodlands, grand African Baobab trees, and vast swamp areas in the south.

During Tanzania’s dry season, the river and swamps become magnets for wildlife, making Tarangire National Park home to some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. We’ll enjoy a lovely picnic lunch in the park and embark on exciting morning and afternoon game drives along the Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to Arusha, bringing our safari adventure to a close. Before parting ways, we encourage you to show appreciation to your guide by tipping approximately $20-$30 per day. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of our tour package services.
