This diverse habitat attracts a plethora of wildlife, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, and vibrant flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake’s rich algae.

After breakfast, we set off on a captivating journey to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Our route takes us through the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering stunning views of lush farmland and rolling landscapes.
As we leave the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park. The park’s endless plains stretch out as far as the eye can see, embodying the quintessential African safari experience. Our destination is the central Seronera area, renowned for its abundant wildlife and rich habitats. The Seronera River, a lifeline for the region, attracts a diverse array of animals, offering you a chance to witness the Serengeti’s vibrant ecosystem in action.
We’ll arrive just in time for lunch at your accommodation in the Seronera and, after a refreshing break, embark on an exhilarating afternoon game drive through the Serengeti. As the sun sets, enjoy a delightful dinner and unwind overnight. Prepare for an evening of comfort amidst the enchanting sounds of the African wilderness.

Begin your day with an unforgettable adventure—gliding silently in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at an additional cost with prior arrangement). As you float above the awakening bush, take in the breathtaking scenery of Tanzania, spotting wildlife and drifting over rivers and numerous small villages. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will leave you in awe.
After this magical experience, enjoy breakfast on the move with our full-day game-viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit. This route loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, offering excellent chances to see lions, Thomson gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. Following our morning game drive, we’ll visit the visitor’s centre near the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites. This well-designed centre features fascinating wildlife displays, a gift shop with informative leaflets and maps, and a snack shop. There’s also a picnic area and an information trail around a nearby kopje, perfect for a leisurely exploration.
We’ll enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch in the shade of giant acacia trees at the visitor’s centre, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we continue our adventure along the Kopjes Circuit, which winds anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes. These weathered granite outcrops create mini-ecosystems that attract wildlife, especially during the dry seasons. Here, you might spot lions lounging in the shade, waiting for prey, and even encounter formidable cobras.

After a delightful breakfast, we set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, we’ll make a fascinating stop at Olduvai Gorge, a site rich with ancient history. Here, the renowned anthropologists Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey unearthed the skulls of the ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man,’ crucial discoveries in the story of human evolution.
We arrive just in time for a sumptuous lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy at your leisure, soaking in the stunning surroundings and perhaps reflecting on the incredible history you’ve just encountered.
As evening falls, savour a delicious dinner and settle in for the night at your accommodation on the crater rim. Note: No lodging is available inside the crater, but you’ll be perfectly positioned to explore this natural wonder the following day. Start your day with a freshly prepared breakfast before descending 600 meters into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Known as one of Africa’s most densely populated wildlife areas, the crater is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.
With its year-round water supply and abundant food sources, the Ngorongoro Crater supports diverse wildlife. You’ll encounter herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and magnificent African elephants. The crater is also famous for its large population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, making it a prime location for spotting these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
We’ll pause for a delightful picnic lunch on the crater floor, allowing you to enjoy this natural wonder’s stunning surroundings and unique ambience.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll return to Karatu for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in your accommodation. While there is no lodging inside the crater, you’ll be perfectly placed to continue to relax and unwind, letting the incredible experiences of the day sink in.

After a satisfying breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park. As we enter the park, you’ll be captivated by the landscape, characterised by low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. The park’s natural vegetation features Acacia woodlands, majestic African Baobab trees, and extensive swamps in the southern region. These swamps and the Tarangire River attract a plethora of wildlife, especially during Tanzania’s dry season.
Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant herds, some of the largest in Africa. Additionally, the park is home to three rare animal species: the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and the Ashy Starling.
We’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch before embarking on an exciting afternoon game drive. During the drive, you’ll have the opportunity to spot these incredible creatures and more in their natural habitat.

Following breakfast, we will embark on a 2-hour drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, we’ll enjoy a final lunch together, reminiscing about our incredible adventures.
As our Tanzanian safari journey ends, we recommend tipping your guide around $20 per day in appreciation of their expertise and dedication. After lunch, you will be transported to your hotel, marking the end of our safari services.
