Start your day with a hearty breakfast before we embark on our journey to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters into this natural wonder for a morning half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s most densely populated wildlife areas, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.
Thanks to its year-round water supply and rich fodder, the crater supports an incredible variety of animals. You may also spot herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The crater is also famous for its high density of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which often requires a trained eye to spot.
We’ll enjoy a picturesque picnic lunch in the crater, surrounded by the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. After lunch, we’ll travel to Tarangire National Park.
