Payment Terms

Below are our company payment terms and conditions:

Mountain Climbing

  • Upon confirmation of your climb booking in writing via email, and/or WhatsApp and/or Facebook Messenger, we will straightaway send you an invoice for your first 30% deposit of the total climb booking, as it is to be immediately received by us The Peak of Africa and Below.
  • Once we receive your first 30% deposit into the company bank account and receipt has been confirmed, we will immediately notify you your payment has safely been received, also the company will send you an invoice showing your 30% first deposit paid and the balance owing.
  • By and no later than 10 weeks prior to your arrival date, a second 30% deposit of your total climb booking cost is to be received into the company bank account. The company will send you an invoice showing receipt of your second 30% deposit paid, and the final balance owing showing the 40% payment due date.
  • 14 full calendar days before your arrival date and no later, the final 40% of your climb booking is to be received into the company bank account, upon confirmation of receipt into the company bank account, an invoice will be sent to you showing your final 40% climb payment received with a nil balance.
  • Please very kindly give plenty of time for the payments to be received in our company bank account on the specified due dates.

Safari Tours

  • Upon confirmation of your safari booking in writing via email, and/or WhatsApp and/or Facebook Messenger, we will straightaway send you an invoice for your first 50% deposit of your total safari booking, as it is to be immediately received by us The Peak of Africa and Below.
  • Once we receive your first 50% deposit into the company bank account and receipt has been confirmed, we will immediately notify you your payment has safely been received, also the company will send you an invoice showing your 50% first deposit paid and the balance owing.
  • By and no later than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, your final safari 50% total booking cost is to be received into the company bank account. upon confirmation of receipt into the company bank account, an invoice will be sent to you showing your final 50% safari payment received with a nil balance.
  • Please very kindly give plenty of time for the payments to be received in our company bank account on the specified due dates.

The Peak of Africa Other Tours, Excursions and Trips

E.g. Zanzibar and it’s paradise islands, walking and canoe safaris, eco culture tourism and much more…

  • Upon confirmation of your choice of any other company tour, and/or excursion and/or trip booking in writing via email, and/or WhatsApp and/or Facebook Messenger, we will straightaway send you an invoice for your first 50% deposit of your chosen booking, as it is to be immediately received by us The Peak of Africa and Below.
  • Once we receive your first 50% deposit into the company bank account and receipt has been confirmed, we will immediately notify you your payment has safely been received, also the company will send you an invoice showing your 50% first deposit paid and the balance owing.
  • By and no later than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, your final 50% total booking cost is to be received into the company bank account and once receipt has been confirmed, the company will send you an invoice showing receipt of your final 50% payment with a nil balance.
  • Please very kindly give plenty of time for the payments to be received in our company bank account on the specified due dates.

Cancellation by the Traveller

  • If you cancel some or all portions of your booking cancellation fees will apply.
  • A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation.
  • A cancellation is not transferable to another person.
  • If you cancel your trip:
    • 10 weeks (70 days) or more prior to departure, we will retain the 25% deposit.
    • Between 56 and 70 days prior to departure we will retain the deposit or 50% of the total booking whichever is the greatest.
    • Between 31 and 55 days prior to the departure we will retain 75%.
    • 30 days or less to the departure we will retain 100%.

You are strongly advised to purchase cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation fees.

Postponement

  • If a client is unable to leave their country or enter Tanzania due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, in this instance bookings can be:.
  • Postponed with a credit note at no extra charge for travel up to 18 months from original holiday arrival date.
  • If a client is unable to travel or enter Tanzania due to testing positive for Covid-19 within 96 hours prior to arrival. In this instance bookings can be postponed/date amended at no extra cost with an 18 month credit note from original arrival date.

Refunds

  • If you leave a trip for any reason after it has been commenced, we are not be obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
  • If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to completion, no refund will be made.
